Oh my gosh, I *hate* when the numbers aren't on the spine! Especially when they aren't anywhere else either. If I pick up a book I haven't heard about before, I want to know if it's a series or standalone and, if it is a series, is the first book or not? ----- I heavily annotate my own books, and I love reading other people's annotations in the books I read, but I would never annotate a book I don't own, and who the h*ll annotates library books?

I have been curious about practice makes perfect but knowing the writing is a bit plain makes me think it should be a library follow for me. Congratulations on the new position! Did you see the official release date for silverborn with the cover and all? Wundersmith was my favourite of the series back when I read it. I did love earthlings but I agree it is very bizarre and disturbing!! Lovelight farms is cute I agree! Mixed Signals is my fave so far because I do love Beckett. Finding all of the noughts and crosses series <3 I hope you'll enjoy a pirate's life for tea just as much as the first book :) Friday I'm in love sounds cute, especially the carer element intrigues me! I'm glad you loved spellshop as well!

I actually never think about needing numbers on the spine of series as I never look for them personally D: I also don't really want to know about big plot twists. You hit the nail on the head about only wanting to watch the kind side of BookTube. I feel like there's such a nice niche of people on BookTube that are genuinely so lovely, and since there's only a limited amount of time in the day, I'd prefer to only be watching them, if that makes sense?

I'll pick a different book for the tag, but shout out Queenie by Candice Carty Williams for a book about self kindness and self care! The kindness of friendship and sisterhood, and the kindness we accept even when we don't think we deserve it!

Chocolat is such a good shout for representing kindness, especially with the themes around xenophobia and racism and making sure your community strengthens through kindness and empathy!

The sweetshop of second chances by Hannah Lynn was full of kindness and a real feel good book. Also, The Offing by Benjamin Myers. I loved the relationship between the elderly lady and young boy, it was so sweet.
